Title- Engineered timber, Native Timber, Digital Design and Fabrication: What is different for an architect working in this space with reference to two recent and current projects. 

  

 Synopsis:  Working with engineered timber and with sophisticated prefabrication technologies is a very different practice from typical business as usual practice. This talk will make reference to the design and fabrication process for the Pingelly Recreation and Cultural Centre, the South Hedland Performance Shell, and the Ravensthorpe Cultural precinct undertaken by ATC studio and their collaborating partners.
