About

Mission

Our mission is to inspire built environment professionals and make positive changes in Architecture and beyond.

ArchiTalk creates opportunities for anyone and everyone who is interested in Architecture and associated disciplines to be exposed to inspirational ideas, insightful projects, and novel thinking.

ArchiTalk is a hub for empowering our community, and we strive to keep it diverse in cultural, contextual, and disciplinary aspects.

History

Connecting and engaging students, academic staff, practitioners, and industry partners through a series of talks and Q&A started at Curtin University in May 2019. It was initially organised as face to face talks and invitations were limited to the Western Australian Architecture community.

The feedback and attendance were extremely well since the talks could not only inspire but also bridge the gap between students, and experienced professionals.

Then we decided to go to the next level and expand this through online broadcasting the ArchiTalks. We are now global, having ArchiTalkers from Boston, Netherlands, Melbourne, and many more locations. It has been a great journey so far and we go beyond the boundaries by sharing the latest ideas and bringing a sense of connection to our Built Environment community.

How does it work?

We invite keynote speakers from all around the world. The sessions include Q&A after the talk. The ArchiTalks will be delivered online to bridge the limitation of time and place. We also record them so you can watch them later through the ArchiTalk.org website.

To receive the invites, please send us a message through the Contact page.
